Service Description

2024 brings about many criminal law changes that become effective in July and August. This class will provide a complete overview of relevant statutes along with any procedural considerations that may arise. Further, the “constitutional carry” changes made to La. R.S. 14:95 naturally affect stop and frisk principles under Terry v. Ohio. Also, disarming lawfully armed citizens increases the risk of 2nd Amendment violations and the exposure to civil liability. These issues will be discussed in detail.
